Our 1st month

Everyone says that your first month or two is always the hardest. Either we got the best baby their is or they just arent doing something right. Rylee has been so good, I'm scared for our second one. (Way down the road) She eats like she should and sleeps really good.

Having a daughter is the best feeling in the world. Don't really know how to explain the love that we have for her. Also it has made our love for each other grow alot stronger, witch I didnt even know was possiable. I am so greatfull to have John as our daughters father. He is absoultly amazing with her. I can see it in his eyes how much he loves her and I.

Rylee had her first major holiday this past weekend. The fourth of July. We went to the car show and hung out with family friends for awhile before daddy got off work and was able to show up. I rode in Uncle Daves car with him in the parade. That ment John sat out with Rylee. He said she slept the hole parade until Uncle Dave and I got in front of them and reved up the motor. Then she woke up and smiled and fell back asleep! It's amazing the smarts babies have.

As I watch her get bigger and bigger it saddens me. I of all people know that a baby will never need their parents more in life than right now. As she sleeps sometimes I just sit there and stare at her and wonder what she will be in life. I want the very best for her and it saddens me that I will have to share parts of my life with her down the road and hope she isnt disappointed in me. I just hope that she will always know that her dad and I love her sooo very much and nothing can change that.

Its amazing once you have a child that you have a piece of your heart outside of your body. Little things that people do have never bugged me as much as they do now. Also this past month I have had to say good bye to a few "friends" who just don't understand that I am a mom now, and I can't just get up and go and do things on a dime. I know someday they will eventually understand.

Our first month has also been full of surprises. Rylee is such a strong little girl. She holds her head up all on her own. We arent talking for a few seconds we are talking five minutes or so. Also she has rolled over twice and gets very frustrated when she can not get all the way over. She is pretty much sleeping threw the night already. She usually just wakes up around 1 or so. I am so thankful. We left her with grandma and grandpa Bruce for about three or four hours last week. Oh my goodness that was super hard! She was in the back of my head the whole time! Dogs have warmed up to her and just love her. Well I guess I better be getting off here. Papa should be home soon!

Rylee Mae Bruce Is Finally Here

And let me tell you she was well worth the wait.

Rylee came on June 9th at 11:51pm. She was 7 lbs and 15 oz. Rylee was 20 inches long. I have never felt such love before. After 13 hours of labor and 20 minutes of pushing she came to us as perfect as a baby can be. We are in heaven. John is such an amazing dad. I thank god everyday for giving me an amazing life. There are times when I just stare at the two of them together and can't belive that they are mine. Rylee isnt taking to the breast like we would of hoped so we are pumping my milk and then giving it to her in a bottle. She loves it that way but doesnt want to work for it (Takes after her daddy on that one.) Other then that everything is just amazing.

Rylee had her first minutes of tummy time and she absoulty loves it. It starts frustrating her after about ten minutes (witch is very good for a new born.) She is already moving around alot and moves her head and also lifts it. We go to the Dr. on Wed for her 2 week check up. Cant belive its been 10 days already.

We also went to Uncle Matts and Aunt Christy's on Thursday and of all days there was massive storms. We ended up running to the trailer parks shelter area because funnel clouds were starting and tornados were touching down. We at least have some good stories to tell Rylee when she gets older. Matt's kids just loved their new cousin!

25 days to go and finally done!

And of course this is her lovely crib all ready for her... Cant wait to start using the rocking chair. I rock in it at night and she starts kicking! Lulu know's something is happing soon since she has started sleeping near the crib!

This is her very full closet. More clothes in dresser drawers. They are all sizes so no we didnt go crazy and buy a crap load of newborns or 0-3 months. But I think I am done buying other then a few onsies here and there... lol

This would be how we decided to save space in the room... We bought a dresser from Kmart for 30 bucks and bought the changing table pad and attached it safely to the top. Saved us about a hundred bucks because changing tables are soo expensive and saved us lots of room in the bedroom also!

So here are the final touch's on her room. This is the little storage area we have diapers and wipes in.. and blankets and burping cloths

Rainy Day Shopping!

So this past weekend I have been go, go, go. On Friday I went with Sarah and the mother in law to go thrift store shopping. We were able to find lots of great stuff for Miss Charity and her upcoming son. Had a great time, although it was raining most of the time that did not hold us back.
On Saturday I went to Elk River and met up with my mom and we went to a Multiply Blessed Mom's sell. Let me just say there was NO way we were going to look at everything. The lunchroom was full of toys, books, blankets ect. And then the gym was packed with racks and racks of clothing all according to size. I knew that if I got to many clothes John would throw a fit as we have so many for our little angel (Although can a princess have to many clothes?) haha. I do realize that she will never wear ALL of the clothes that we have for her unless we change her a few times a day lol. So I got a sleeper, dress, 10 receiving blankets, and a dress for size 18 month. Then we went into St. Cloud and went to the college where they were having "THE WORLDS LARGEST GARAGE SELL." I'm sure that each year it is diffrent but it was nothing great. It wasnt even as big as we thought it would be. Mostly just junk. But I did find myself a purse and a few toys for Kynzie. Also I picked up the blanket that is pictured for $2. It is so cute and soft. I love it. I might just be using it until she arrives. It will make a great blanket to throw over the car seat in the winter time.
This week marks one month left. I have a Dr. Appointment on Friday and we will find out if I have dialated at all. On Tuesday the mother in law and I are going to pick out our baby monitar, as that is what she wanted to buy us. And after we get those I am very very very pleased to say we are completly done shopping. We no longer will be in need of anything! Very exciting! I am still feeling ok. Just get very tired very fast and oh my goodness I feel like a furnace. I am ALWAYS feeling like I am on fire. Its so uncomfortable. But it will be worth it!
Well I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I am going to get off here and start cleaning the house up!

37 Days!

So I just hit the 35 week marker. Means we have 5 weeks left. I sure am starting to get lazy. And its funny to John to watch me try to roll over in bed. I'm like a rollie pollie or something. As the weeks get closer and closer we can not belive how fast the time as gone. Until now! Next Dr. Appointment is a week from tomorrow and then we go every week. That should make time fly. It's so crazy that I know 12 girls having a baby between now and December. BABY SEASON! lol. Nothing much is new. Tomorrow John's sister Sarah and I are going to do some major thrift store shopping for Charity to find some boy clothes. And on Saturday I'm going to a huge Multiply Blessed Mom's sell at the high school in Elk River. I am also going to the worlds largest garage sell in St. Cloud at the college on Saturday with my mom. I have been having some braxton hicks contractions (Contractions where just the stomach tightens up.) Kynzie really hasnt dropped any. I sure wish she would so I could breath. John is going to hang out with his uncle this weekend, as I did my own thing last weekend. We are slowly getting our house to look like a home. I hope within the next week to have it all cleaned up so I can take a video and pictures to post for Laura! Well with that note I need to go to the bathroom so I will call it quits for the day!

Finally We'll Meet

I love you, little baby
You're such a part of me.
Can't wait to hold you in my arms,
And hug you tenderly.
No matter what you look like,
You're beautiful, my love.
A precious gift bequeathed to me,
From heaven far above.
Each time I feel you moving,
My heart is filled with Joy.
To think that very soon I'll hold you.
I'm counting every moment,
Till you're mine at last, my sweet.
It won't be long until your birth,
Then finally we'll meet.

Starting This Again

Hey everyone. I deleted all the old posts and we are going to try this agian. When we bought our house in October we didn't have internet. We finally do. Yay!

As everyone knows we are expecting our first child the first week of June! 6 weeks to go! We are so thrilled and can not wait for our daughter to be here! We have been super busy preparing for her! We have everything done now. Just waiting on her. We have clothes times a million. I know she will not even come close to wearing all of them before she out grows them. It's ok, we can save them for the next baby if its a girl.

We have just purched a washer and dryer and it is amazing. We were having to go to the laundry matt or to John's parents house to do laundry. Now we wont have to haul a baby around and laundry. SO that is very exciting.

This year must be baby year as I know someone who is expecting every month this year or had a baby already this year. In July John's little sister Charity is having a baby boy. Can not wait to see him. Stinks they live so gosh darn far away. Also the best news came to us a few weeks back that his sister Laura in Utah is expecting in November! We are so truly happy for them. They are going to make the best parents ever!

Becoming a expecting parents have really brought John and I so much joy and pain, as my pregnancy has not been an easy one! I'm just glad it is almost over! And he's already talking a second one lol. Not happening for three years though. We have faced many challenges and many opsticals the past 9 months. Having him right by my side the whole time has been a blessing. He couldn't be a better partner!

We also just got both dogs fixed yesterday. Captain is just fine as he just turned six months old. And males recover faster. LuLu our 2 year old black lab is having a very hard time though. She hasnt ate or drank anything for over 24 hours and is throwing up. I hate the sad eyes she gives me and it hurts me seeing her in pain. Hopefully she will start to feel better soon!

Well the buzzer on the dryer just went off so I am off to finish the laundry. I promise I will keep this blog up better then the last!
